SentrySafe Fire Files protect important contents against damage and catastrophic loss resulting from fire and water. They are rated and verified by an independent third party testing firm.
Fire - SentrySafe Fire Files are UL Classified for fire endurance. Subjected to temperatures up to 1700º F/927º C for a duration of 1 hour, the interior of the product will remain below 350º F/177º C to protect documents and files.
Explosion - SentrySafe Fire Files are UL Classified for explosion protection. Subjected to a flash fire in a 2000º F/1093º C furnace for 20 minutes, the product will not explode or rupture.
These specific SentrySafe Fire Files include a media chest that is ETL Verified to also protect CDs, DVDs, memory sticks, USB flash drives and other electronic/digital media against fire for 1/2 hour at 1550 F/843 C.
Water - In the event of a fire, the SentrySafe Fire File is designed to prevent important contents from damage resulting from exposure to water sprinklers and hoses.
Impact - SentrySafe File Files are UL Classified to withstand the impact of a 30 foot drop test – the equivalent of two stories.
